CHiPSIG is composed of individuals interested in the experimental and clinical application of computers and other high-technology in the psychological and behavioral sciences. The organization fosters discussion and collaboration, disseminating information among CHiP-SIG members and AABT's broader membership. (Note: You must be a current member of AABT to apply for membership in CHiP-SIG.)

With members worldwide, interests span a broad range of computer and hi-tech applications in the assessment and treatment of psychological problems.
- Some members are developing software and other technologies for screening or assessment related to clinical treatment.
- Others are involved in creating technological adjuncts to treatment, or using technology to reduce direct therapist involvement. (e.g., psycho-educational tutorials).
- We have members interested in administrative applications. This includes computerizing practices (e.g., quality improvement protocols; scheduling, voice recognition, billing, and client tracking) or enhancing research procedures (e.g., subject tracking systems, data collection).
